Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year!

I am entering my 17th year of teaching (14th at Canton ISD alone) and excited for this upcoming school year!  I am happily married to my man, Steven Stapleton, which many of you know as he is a Captain State Game Warden and is sometimes featured on the TV show Lone Star Law.  I have two children that keep me on my toes...the oldest is currently attending Texas A&M University and the youngest will be a freshman athlete attending UT Tyler.

I attended East Texas State University (currently Texas A&M - Commerce) and received a double major in Agricultural Economics and Animal Science.  A few years later, I received my teacher certification at Colorado State University.
