Christy "Maestra" Lea
A little about "Maestra" (as my students will learn to call me)
I grew up in Arkansas and went to college in Texas at Baylor University. I graduated from the University of Arkansas where I met my husband Brian. We moved to Texas in 2001 and I have been teaching Spanish at the high school level for 27 years. We have three children, Madison, Christian and Jessica. We love living in Canton and are very happy to be a part of this community.
I am excited about the opportunity to teach the students in Canton ISD and share my love for and experience with the Spanish language and culture with them.
