ASVAB: If you are taking the test, please be in the auditorium at 8:00 am in the morning.
Juniors and seniors: Prom, which is now called the The Annual Ball, will be held March 23 at The Silver Spur Barn. Tickets will go on sale starting January 25. Ticket prices will be $50 until Feb 7. Starting Feb 8 ticket price will go up to $65 through March 8. Any tickets sold after March 8 will be $100. Do not wait! Get your tickets early. You will be able to purchase tickets every Friday during A & B lunch beginning this Friday, January 25.
Yearbook is selling spirit shirts. They are inspired by the theme of “Friends”. If you would like to order a shirt please see Mrs. Robbins in the front office or Mrs. Slagle in room 204.
If you are interested in trying out for cheerleader for the 2019-2020 school year, please see Mrs. Sweat in the counselor’s office to sign up. Tryouts are March 1. The deadline to sign up is Friday, February 8.
Project Graduation 2019 is having “Bingo Night” this Thursday, January 24, from 6:30 to 8:30 at Moore’s Store in Ben Wheeler. This is a fun event that will benefit the class of 2019.
Congratulations to Caden Orf who earned first State Alternate in the Regional Business Professionals of America Competition last Saturday. Congratulations also to Cameron Krailo, Josiah Chandler and Trenton McCarver who also competed.
SENIORS: Bachelors in Black is April 6. Senior boys and girls need to sign up to participate in this fun night. A lot of help is needed behind the scenes so if you don’t want participate in the action on stage you can help behind the scenes. Bachelors in Black is the #1 senior fundraiser. The better your show is, the more money you raise. The more money you raise means you get more at project graduation. So don’t be afraid to sign up. Sign-up sheets are in the office with Mrs. Robbins, in Coach Day’s room, Mrs. Sumner’s room, and Mr. Duty’s room.
