Students: The doors leading outside of the 500 Hall are not to be propped open at any time. Again, do not prop the 500 Hall doors open at any time during the day.
Our Eaglettes will take on Henderson in the Area game tonight at Tyler Junior College. The game will begin at 7:30 and we are the home team. Good luck ladies!
Dress Code Reminder: 1. Boys’ hair must not extend below the top of the collar of a dress shirt on the back. Hair must not extend below the eyebrow in front or below the earlobe on the sides. Sideburns may not extend below the ear. If their hair is longer on the top, it must be slicked back away from the eyebrows – ALL day. 2. Facial hair is not permitted. 3. Students may not wear jeans or pants with holes, excessive fraying, or slits above the knees. Any other holes should not exceed one-inch in diameter. Cut-off jeans are not allowed. If holes or slits are above the knees, the holes must be patched. No skin should be seen through holes that are above the knees!
Students, Student Leadership would like you to know that this coming Monday is Presidents’ Day. It is also known as “Washington's Birthday”, after George Washington, the first president of the United States. Washington was revered as one of the most important figures in American history and his birthday became a perennial day of remembrance.
Our Eagles will take on Pleasant Grove this Tuesday, February 20, in the first round of the play-offs. The game is in Mt. Vernon at 8:00 and we will be the home team. Good luck guys!
Seniors: Prestige Portraits will be here Wednesday, February 21, at 7:30 to take cap and gown pictures. They will provide the cap and gown for you. Order forms coming soon.
Student Council would like to share some facts about American Heart Association: A good night’s sleep is essential to heart health. Seven-and-a-half hours is the most beneficial amount of sleep for ANYONE, young or old so TEENAGERS: turn the video games OFF and put away your PHONES so you can get a good night’s sleep every night! Your heart will thank you for it!
