Welcome Students, Parents and Players,
   This is my 11th year in education and I am excited to start my 3rd year at Canton High School. I am married with 3 children. My oldest daughter (KyAnn) graduated from Texas A&M and is a 2nd Grade teacher at Farmersville ISD. My middle daughter (Kinley) is currently attending TSTC and is set to graduate and be married in December. My son (Kole) just completed his Sophomore year at East Texas A&M and will be attending Fire School in College Station this year. My wife April is an RN for Wills Point JH.
   I retired from the Air Force after 23 years and immediately began teaching and coaching Girls Basketball in Texas. I held many jobs in the Air Force including: Firefighter, Combat Arms, Security Forces, Deployment training and 1st Sgt. I have a strong background in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Security and Written Communication. I Graduated from Wayland Baptist University in 2000 for Criminal Justice and I also hold 3 Associate degrees in Fire Science, Human Resources and Police Sciences.
   I will be teaching (BIM) Business Information Management and Principles of Law.
   My passion and hobby is basketball and I am the assistant Girls basketball Coach and the Track Girls Throwing Coach!

Course Description: Students will examine the roles and responsibilities of police, courts, corrections, private security, and protective agencies of fire and emergency services. The course provides students with an overview of the skills necessary for careers in law, law enforcement, fire service, security, and corrections.

Course Description: Students will develop Technology skills with applications to personal or business situations focusing on word processing, spreadsheet, database, telecommunications, desktop publishing, presentation management, networking, operating systems, and emerging technologies. Students will utilize a Microsoft “learn by doing” guide that will also prepare them to be evaluated through the Microsoft evaluation system and receive a Microsoft Certificate in several program areas if they pass the Microsoft content exam.

1st Semester: Basic Computer Concepts, College and Career Readiness, Microsoft Word, Desktop Publishing


2nd Semester: Microsoft Excel (spreadsheet), Microsoft Powerpoint, Presentation skills
