Technology Education
I bring a wealth of experience from several diverse long-term professional careers. My background spans the U.S. Army, law enforcement, software business analysis, and program management for a major U.S. non-profit organization. Throughout my journey, I have embraced new and exciting opportunities, transitioning careers whenever I felt I had mastered my current field and could do more. This is precisely how I found my way into teaching high school students.
I am dedicated to preparing today's youth for the workforce, and I view this as my final and most fulfilling career. I am committed to giving my all, with a mindset of 100% effort or nothing at all.
Technology is both a personal and professional passion of mine. It serves as the ultimate equalizer, requiring nothing more than an "I Can Do That" attitude. While technology constantly evolves, mastering a learning mindset is key. I can introduce concepts, software, syntax, and processes, but it is up to the student to embrace the problem-solving ideology necessary to adapt to new challenges. Employers seek problem solvers, not robots.
My biggest request from my students is that they put as much effort into my class as I do. By genuinely trying, they will succeed and learn something useful along the way.
