Technology Education

I bring a wealth of experience from several diverse and long-term professional careers. My background includes service in the U.S. Army, work in law enforcement, roles supporting software development for the military, and program management for a major U.S. non-profit organization. At each stage, I sought out new challenges, advancing only when I felt I had mastered my field and was ready to take on more. That mindset ultimately led me to my current and most rewarding role: teaching high school students.

I am deeply committed to preparing today’s youth for the workforce. I view this as the final chapter of my professional journey—and the most meaningful. I approach this role with a “100% or nothing” mentality, determined to give my students my absolute best.

Technology has always been both a personal and professional passion. I believe it’s the great equalizer-what matters most is not background or resources, but an “I can do that” mindset. While tools and platforms are always evolving, success comes from developing a strong learning mindset. I can teach concepts, syntax, software, and processes—but it’s the students who must embrace the problem-solving approach that real-world employers value. Organizations don’t hire robots; they hire thinkers.

My biggest request from students is simple: match the effort I put into teaching with your effort to learn. If you do that, you’ll succeed—and walk away with skills that truly matter.
