Meet Maestra!

¡Hola! I’m so excited to start another wonderful school year here in Canton.

A little about me: I grew up in Arkansas and attended Baylor University before graduating from the University of Arkansas (where I also met my husband, Brian!). We moved to East Texas back in 2001, and our family—including our three children, Madison, Christian, and Jessica—absolutely love being a part of the Canton community.

Teaching high school Spanish has been my passion for 30 years. My goal is to not only teach the language, but to help students experience and appreciate the rich cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. I can't wait for a fantastic year together!
