Hello!

My name is Troy Carrell, and I am excited to begin another school year at Canton High School. This is my 5th year teaching at Canton High School and my 24th year in education. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University.  In addition to teaching Principles of Health Science, I serve as the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Canton High School. This year marks my 20th season as a head girls basketball coach, and I am passionate about helping students grow both in the classroom and through athletics.

My wife, Sarah, and I have three wonderful daughters: Emalee, Megan, and Reese. When I'm not teaching or coaching, you'll most likely find me outdoors—either hunting or spending time on the water fishing.
