Hi! I'm Mrs. Caitlin Sapp, and I am so excited to be teaching Career and Technical Education at Canton High School. As a proud Canton High School graduate, it is truly a full-circle moment to return home and have the opportunity to teach in the district that helped shape who I am. After graduating from Canton, I earned my bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, and I feel incredibly blessed to now invest in the lives of students in the same community that invested in me.
This year, I'll be teaching a variety of CTE courses, including Principles of Education, Instructional Practices, Practicum in Education and Training, Principles of Human Services, Human Growth and Development, Interpersonal Studies, Lifetime Nutrition and Wellness, and Introduction to Culinary Arts.
I am passionate about helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and develop skills that will prepare them for success both inside and outside the classroom.
When I'm not at school, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and our three boys. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and I enjoy making memories with them, serving our community, and continuing to grow in my faith.
I believe every student deserves to feel seen, supported, and encouraged. My goal is to create a classroom where students feel welcome, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. I'm honored to be back at Canton High School and look forward to partnering with students and families for a wonderful school year. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle!
