About Mrs. Burton

Hello my name is Tonya Burton.  I am from a small town in the oilfields of West Texas called Denver City.  I attended and graduated with a degree in Vocational Home Economics Education from Texas Tech University.  I am married and have two grown children.
I am a Culinary Arts Instructor at Canton High School.  I started the Culinary Arts program at CHS in 2015 when we created our Culinary business "The Mean Green Cuisine".    We will continue to prepare lunches and to go meals for our staff as well as catering for the district and the community.  There is a lot of new things happening in the Culinary program at CHS so stay tuned....
