UIL Tennis Regionals in Rockwall
Tuesday, April 15 @ 6:00 p.m. (Seeding Meeting in football stadium)
Wednesday, April 16 @ 8:30 a.m (Coaches meeting at tennis courts)
Wednesday, April 16 @ 9:00 a.m. (1st, 2nd, Semis)
Thursday, April 17 @ 9:00 a.m. (Semis, Finals, Play backs)
We will play in a regional qualifier meet in Corsicana on Friday April 11th. We will leave about 11:30. The matches begin playing at 2.
The following players will be going: Brazos Hesskew, Juliana Bratcher, Taylor Tidwell, Kelby Nixon, Brad Wiggins, and Travis Riffe.

Way to go! I am so proud of how Canton competed in district. I am also excited to annouce that the girls and boys tennis teams captured 2nd place overall. I have the teams trophies for the district runner up. That is something to be proud of.

Girls Singles: Juliana Bratcher (district runner up)
Taylor Tidwell (3rd place and reg. alt.)
Boys Singles: Brazos Hesskew (district runner up)
Boys Doubles: Brad Wiggins and Kelby Nixon (district runner up)
Travis Riffe (doubles alt.)
Girls Doubles: Emory Elliott and Brooke Erickson (3rd place and reg. alt.)
Madi Allen (doubles alt.)

I am proud of the way you competed today at district. We go back Saturday to finish. We will leave at 7:45. Play starts at 9am.
Our teams did well today. Our boys singles (Brazos Hesskew) is in the chamionship; our girls singles (Juliana Bratcher) is in the championship; our boys doubles (Brad Wiggens and Kelby Nixon) is in the championship; we also have two girls doubles teams playing in the 3rd place game with a possible play back (Emory Elliott and Brooke Erickson and Madi Allen and Kassidy Wilkerson); we have a girls in the singles 3rd place match with a possible playback (Taylor Tidwell); and we have a boys doubles in the 3rd place match with a possible play back (Brett Mackelfresh and Travis Riffe). Brett Blevins made it to the consolation championship. It was a good day. Way to go Canton.
Everyone is also playing for team points....so each place earns points for the team standings in district.
Let go have fun and play with character and enthusiam on Saturday. I am happy for you all and wish you the best.
