Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year!

I am entering my 19th year of teaching (16th at Canton ISD alone) and excited for this upcoming school year!  I am happily married to my man, Steven Stapleton, which many of you know as he is a Captain State Game Warden and is sometimes featured on the TV show Lone Star Law.  I have two children that keep me on my toes...the oldest recently graduated from the Game Warden Academy and is an official State Game Warden stationed in El Paso! and my youngest will be a junior attending UT Tyler to become a Physical Therapist.

I attended East Texas State University (currently East Texas A&M) and received a double major in Agricultural Economics and Animal Science.  A few years later, I received my teacher certification at Colorado State University.
